Having hands-on experience in procurement and the MCIPS qualification, I know first-hand what goes on in the supply chain. A large proportion of my job was negotiating, agreeing and drafting terms and conditions in contracts of supply which enables me to understand the concepts and terminology and decipher the correct meaning of the source text as well as being able to use the right terminology and language.
